Elliot Zontone presents Art Splash

Artsplash transforms the pool into an artwork in its own right. Each creation is conceived to engage with the architecture, water and light. Painted directly onto the bottom of the pool, the work evolves with reflections and the movement of the water, creating an ever-changing visual experience.

What if painting moved beyond the canvas and into real space? With Art Splash , Elliot Zontone transforms the bottom of swimming pools into monumental surfaces of expression, where art interacts with architecture, light, and the movement of water.

Born from a desire to push past the limits of traditional formats, this project redefines the very notion of a canvas. Here, the surface becomes alive, constantly evolving. The pool is no longer just a place to swim, but a space to experience. The artwork is not only observed, it is entered, explored, and felt.

Each project is entirely custom-made. Lines follow the structure of the space, colors respond to natural light, and water becomes a dynamic filter that continuously reshapes the composition. From above, the piece reveals its full graphic power; from within, it becomes immersive, almost abstract, and deeply sensory.

At the intersection of art, design, and performance, Art Splash creates unique, site-specific works that are deeply connected to their environment. More than a painting, it is a signature, a way of transforming everyday spaces into striking, unforgettable experiences.

In a world where everything tends to look the same, Art Splash offers a singular vision: turning every pool into a true work of art.

An artwork conceived for its surroundings

Each Art Splash is designed for the pool that will hold it. Shape, perspective, depth, light and landscape become the raw materials of a unique composition.

“The pool is no longer simply a place to swim. It becomes a space to move through, observe and feel.”

An original composition connected to the place, its architecture and your vision.

  3. 03

    Visual proposal

A bespoke protocol

The project adapts to the pool

Concrete or mineral render is the preferred surface. Work on liners, PVC membranes, polyester shells, mosaics or glass can also be considered after technical review and compatibility tests.

The pool specialist prepares and waterproofs the pool. Zontone Studio designs the artwork, develops the artistic system and carries out the application.

Indicative durability

10–15years

on correctly prepared concrete

8–10years

on a compatible liner

These estimates depend on preparation, water chemistry, exposure and maintenance.

International projects

The installation is organised with the architect, project manager and pool specialist. The team, logistics and schedule adapt to every site, in France and abroad.
